This is a story about survival and defeat. About strength and weariness. About power and death-power. This is the tale of the last Cornerstone. There can only be four survivors, and those survivors are us: Scott a.k.a. "Scotty too Hottie", Justin a.k.a "Justo Blaa", Joe a.k.a. "Braah", and me a.k.a. "K800" (kate-hundred) or "Katt Blaze". We were on a mission. A mission to get some Christian Metal in our blood. Little did we know that our blood would soon boil as we set up camp down in Bushnell, IL under a scorching heat index of 114 degrees Fahrenheit. There was no turning back now. Join me as I tell the tale of our last camping trip to the best music festival in the universe and how we nearly died due to heat and lack of good bands.

THE FORT IS SET UP. TIME TO GO FORTH INTO THE HEAT OF DEATH.
THE ONLY CHANCE OF SURVIVAL WAS TO STAY OUT OF THE SUN DURING THE DAY. THAT IS WHY WE MADE FREQUENT TRIPS TO THE QUEEN OF THE DAIRIES (DAIRY QUEEN).
EARLY ON THE THIRD DAY SOMEONE STOLE HALF OUR CAMPSITE. THEIR VAN AND TENT IS SHOWN HERE BEHIND SCOTT. THEY SET UP AROUND OUR GRILL WHICH WAS STILL STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR CAMP.
