He Washed Me White As Snow

I woke up last Friday morning and saw everything was blanketed in a heavy layer of snow, after which I exclaimed, "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" It looked so beautiful. Joe and I decided to go on a "photo walk" and capture the downtown Racine beauty. We were able to take some pictures for lookbook, too. You can see them here. I hope you like the pictures!

Not Everything Is Black And White...Except Here

I was stuck inside the other day, and decided to practice taking pictures. I got some cool detail shots, and had fun putting them in black and white. I'm posting this from Eagle River, WI. This weekend Joey is racing snocross...I think for the last time this season. The snow was falling all night as we drove up, and it looked so beautiful! As per tradition, we ate at the Friendship House for dinner, and I had the best chocolate shake that has ever been given to me in any restaurant. My shakes are, of course, the best in all the world, though.

Here Comes Morning

Last night, Joey asked me if I wanted to do a special sunrise shoot on the beach in the morning. After going through my closet to find something both trendy and warm, I finally went to sleep at 12:30 am. I then woke up at 6 am to get ready for the photo shoot...surprisingly, with a lot of energy. We walked outside, and we were greeted by some lovely :) 10 degree weather. Our little Mini Cooper started reluctantly, and we found our way to the beach. It was beautiful! The sun was just coming over a wall of clouds, and the wind was forming large waves in the water. I can't believe we live five minutes away from something so amazing! God's glory was definitely present this morning. We stayed out there for 25 minutes and then ran to the car...it was soooo cold! Anyway, we got some awesome shots and later went out for breakfast. Good day :)

I Feel Like I'm in a Pink 1980s Mist

Joey took these amazing pictures of me today! He is the best! I bought the sunglasses on zumiez.com, the necklace is from the super cool modcloth.com (seriously, check it out!), the sweater is from Forever21, and the skirt + tights are from H&M. I'm also wearing some Harajuku Lovers perfume, but you can't see that ;)...you can see the perfume bottle, though.
