Lighthouse Day

Hello friends. This week I am home alone. Joey is in Washington D.C. for work, but that means I have more time to post on my blog! Before he left, we took these photos by the lighthouse which quickly became one of my favorite places to shoot. If you noticed, my hair is a lot shorter. I went to a stylist friend, and we decided to chop a bunch off because my hair was so damaged. Then she cut straight bangs for me. I love them! Enjoy the photos!

For Joey

Last Thursday we celebrated Joey's birthday. I told him he was invited to a dinner and show that night, but he was not to ask anymore questions about it. We went to milwaukee and had dinner at Cafe Hollander and then took some time hanging out at Urban Outfitters and Alterra. After that we walked over to the Landmark Oriental Theater to see Moonrise Kingdom. It was great! Plus Joey has been wanting to see it for a long time. All in all it was a sweet night. It had been far too long since we went out on a date like that. I also got a couple photos of him (because it's always me in the pictures), and yes, he is throwing his wedding ring in the air in the second to last photo.

Spring Cleaning In The Summer

I take too many pictures, so something I need to get better at is DELETING. I have been going through old photos and deleting a ton just to clean out our computer. Boy, have Joe and I gotten better at photography in the past year. Anyway, I found some cool oldies and fixed them up a bit. I thought I would share them. They're mostly of me and my changing hair styles. But what can I say? Pictures like that are easy to come by. Enjoy!

Faith As Small As A Mustard Seed

I'm finally back at home after a few days of camping and a friend's wedding. We went camping at Cornerstone Music Festival in dreadful heat. It was 100 degrees Fahrenheit almost everyday and did not cool down until 8 or 9 pm. I was happy to get home and sit in the pool :) Joey and I were the photographers at our first wedding last Saturday! It was so great, and we captured some really awesome photos which you will get to see soon! Bye for now.
