A New Home For My Photos // New Website

Hi all! I haven't posted on this blog in a while because my Joey and I have been working on a new website! It was such a hard decision whether or not to keep this blog. We debated using this one for more personal posts and style posts and leaving the new website for professional stuff only. But we also wanted to simplify things and keep our work in one place. We decided to move everything to one, new mega website/blog. I'm going to miss "Katie and the Camera", but I'm always going to be 'Katie', and I'll always have my 'camera'. All is not lost. It's A Lovely Day For Fog

Fog is the best. And fog in the fall is perfect for Halloween time. Joey and I went out to Sanders Park and took a walk in the woods around 6 pm (we like to walk in the woods a lot if you haven't noticed). It got darker and darker and eerier and eerier. We ended the night by taking pictures in a dark, foggy field at the entrance to the park. I wish all of our pictures could look like this.

The Woods In Virginia

Joey and I just got back from two weeks in Washington D.C. and it's always great to be home. While we were there, we became a little sick of the city, so we scouted out a woods in Virginia. The forest was awesome, and we turned into giddy, little kids as we walked through it. I think even adults still want to be knights or fairy princesses when they grow up. I know we do.
